In my time working at Green District Salads, (a start up fast-casual-trendy salad concept) as their in-house graphic designer I had the opportunity to work on many different projects using many different types of skills. I worked on projects relating to social media, printed media, product design and branding, marketing campaigns, and planned and executed marketing campaigns.
I sketched, planned, and executed marketing campaigns that ranged from social media, geo-based, apparel, and even some Guerilla style marketing.
During this time, I also had the chance to collaborate with some local Louisville brands in some projects, including Elixir Kombucha, LouCity FC, UofL Athletics, Daryl Isaacs, and more.
A big passion of mine is fashion and pop culture, in my time at GD I was lucky enough to also work on building an apparel line with an amazing group of people with similar passions. I designed unique giveaway shirts for every new Green District location we opened, this included 10+ locations in Louisville, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah.
I was also working on an adjacent apparel brand that would offer higher quality materials and silhouettes that were still under the GD brand, this would include seasonal drops that customers would be able to purchase on a limited time basis.
A big part of my job was also to maintain our brand identity through all outputs, this includes social media posts, ads campaigns (within and through partners), printed material inside the stores, printed ads, and even the uniforms all of our team wears in-store.
There is a lot of design work that only made it as far as within payroll, as a smaller start-up company we were building everything from the ground up, so this meant A LOT of pages were designed. Pages belonging to: safety protocols books, SOPs, recipe books, quarterly investor presentations, new menu item build manuals, etc. Yes, I had the pleasure of organizing, laying out, formatting, designing, and putting together all of these assets.
A stand out project I worked on is the Marketing campaign for a new menu drop, in this case the "Fall 2022" drop. On this project I worked on every aspect, from designing the menu, social media post, merch design, and even got help out a little with product photography.
